You live in London, New York, or Milan. You bought a house in Trapani. Who is checking the construction site on Tuesday morning?
In Italy, the Direttore dei Lavori (DL) is not just a project manager; it's a legal role. We are responsible for ensuring the building complies with the permit and the law. But for our international clients, we do much more.
1. We are your "Bad Cop"
Construction workers can be relaxed with timelines. We are not. We handle the builders, check the quality of the concrete, and ensure they show up. We speak their dialect, but we report to you in English.
2. Budget Control
The nightmare of every investor is the "extra cost". We validate every invoice before you pay it. If a builder asks for more money, we verify if it's legitimate or not. You never pay blindly.
We check the details that matter: insulation, window fitting, and waterproofing.
3. Weekly Reports
You shouldn't have to guess what's happening. We send weekly updates via WhatsApp or Email with photos and videos of the progress, so you feel like you are on-site.
